A bill has gone through assembly that would make a restraining order a tangible mode of protection for domestic violence victims.
The so-called “Cathy’s law” would allow for those accused of domestic violence awaiting trial to wear electronic moniterimg devices while awaiting trial to keep their supposed victims safe.
it goes to the Senate now, and is a huge step for victims everywhere.
